My Move Project is Sacramento’s “white glove” senior move management company. After hiring us to oversee your transition, here are the steps we take to ensure your move is stress-free and handled with care.

STEP 1
Planning Phase for Downsizing and Organizing
- Develop a floor plan for new or existing home
- Move and/or downsize planning
- Tag items to keep, sell, give and/or discard
- Coordinate with vendors for donation or sale
- Interview and hire moving company
- Implement safety plan at new home
STEP 2
Moving
- Schedule moving company
- Coordinate move with new community
- Professional packing by the moving company
- Move day oversight and coordination
STEP 3
Arrival at New Home
- Unpack & put away your belongings
- Remove boxes and packing materials
- Line shelves and install décor (if applicable)
- Reconnect all electronics
- Hang pictures, artwork and decorate
